From wrangling over the Keystone Pipeline to China’s appetite for fuel, global energy markets are facing enormous challenges. To discuss how plan sponsors can understand and react to the risks and changes in the market, Canadian Investment Review invited Craig Pirrong to speak at the upcoming Investment Innovation Conference being held next month in Scottsdale Arizona. Pirrong, who is Professor of Finance, and Energy Markets Director for the Global Energy Management Institute at the Bauer College of Business of the University of Houston, will discuss key energy initiatives in play around the world along with the implications for energy independence in the U.S. and China’s slowdown in the context of the global energy landscape.
