Yaelle Gang
Yaelle Gang

Yaelle Gang is the editor of Canadian Investment Review (CIR). She was previously a communications manager at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, where she was responsible for financial communications, worked on WSIB pension plan communications and served on the plan’s member advisory committee.

Yaelle has a wealth of pension experience from her time on Parliament Hill, where she was a policy advisor on pensions to the federal minister of state (finance), advised on financial literacy and worked on two federal budgets. She also served as the legislative assistant to a member of parliament on the finance committee.

Yaelle was previously a conference editor for both CIR and Benefits Canada. She also contributed articles to Benefits Canada.

Yaelle holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University. She graduated with a Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement and was a recipient of the K. Phyllis Wilson Scholarship in Journalism and the Judith Johansen Memorial Award.

She leads sales across the group through print, digital, events, custom and research initiatives. Webb joined Contex after working at Rogers Media for 25 years and TC Media for 3 years.

Robert Martins is the director of business development and client relations for the pension and benefits group at Contex Group Inc. For the past eight years, Martins has led sales and business development for Benefits Canada, Canadian Investment Review and Avantages across multimedia platforms, including print, digital and custom content, as well as premier events such as the Global Investment Conference, Risk Management Conference, Investment Innovation Conference and the Defined Contribution Plan Summit. Martins also oversees the operations of the Canadian Institutional Investment Network (CIIN), Canada’s leading resource for institutional investment intelligence, including prospecting, competitive analysis and market analysis for both the pension and foundations and endowment communities. Prior to this role, Martins held various business development positions at Rogers and the International Quality & Productivity Center, a world leader in conferences and events.
