| Caroline Cakebread is the editor of Canadian Investment Review. As editor, she works with the investment industry and the site’s board to produce thought-leading content for investmentreview.com. She also works closely with the conference and Online Debates Team to ensure that content meets the needs of Canada’s top pension investors. In addition to her role at investmentreview.com, she acts as an independent policy researcher and strategic communications consultant for financial institutions, governments and pension funds. She is the author of several research papers on financial literacy and investor education and is currently writing a book on the asset-backed commercial paper crisis for University of Toronto Press (forthcoming 2010). She received her MA and PhD from the University of Birmingham in the U.K., has taught both undergraduate and graduate students and has published numerous articles and essays on Shakespeare, education, and women’s issues. | |

| Laurie is the editor of conferences and online events with Rogers Publishing Financial Services Group. She leads the development of content and recruitment of engaging speakers for the Benefits Canada, Canadian Investment Review (CIR) and Canadian Insurance conferences and web editor of CIR Online Debates. Laurie is responsible for managing the conference websites and execution of live webinars. Prior to recently joining the Business and Professional Publishing Group, Laurie was involved in working on various corporate events including selling a number of conference products within multiple industries and organizing scientific meetings throughout Australia. Laurie has an Honours BComm from McMaster University. |

She brings wide-ranging organizational and project management skills to her position, including a diploma in marketing communications and advertising media.
