James
is a manager within Alberta Investment Management’s (AIM) Fund
Management Group. AIM is the investment operations group of Alberta Finance,
which manages approximately $40 billion in balanced assets for various
Alberta public sector pension plans and endowments. The Fund Management
Group is primarily responsible for asset allocation advice and investment
policy design for internal investment clients. James has a Bachelor of
Commerce degree from UBC, and is currently working towards his MBA from
Queen’s University. James is also a CFA Charterholder.

Leo

Dexton is vice-president and director at State Street Global Markets
Canada Inc. He joined the firm in 2000. Dexton

Steve is a principal in the Toronto
office. He has an extensive background in actuarial and employee benefit
consulting, having assisted a variety of employers in the design,
administration, communication, financing and investment of their pension
plans. Since mid-2002, Steve has been responsible for managing large
client relationships and for Retirement Financial Management in Canada.
Most recently he has co-authored Towers Perrin’s White Paper on how
to rejuvenate Canada’s pension system to accommodate the realities

Andrew Mellon Foundation Bicentennial Fellow in 1976. Dr. Brock studied

As the pension fund manager
for the United Church of Canada, Dan is the primary interface between the
external investment managers and custodians, the investment committee and
the United Church. Dan is a chartered accountant with 25 years experience
in public accounting prior to coming to the United Church Pension Plan.

Mihail is an analyst, Public Markets at the Public Sector Pension
Investment Board (“PSP Investments”). Mihail

Eastern European financial institution which was managing assets for
