Towers Perrin was founded in 1934 in Philadelphia and was originally named Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby. In 1956 the first Canadian office opened in Montreal, followed by the Toronto office being established in 1960. Vancouver and Calgary followed in 1973 and 1980 respectively. Our Mississauga Service Centre opened in the mid-1990’s and provides fully integrated administrative solutions. Tillinghast, our financial services business, originally offered actuarial and reinsurance services to insurance companies. Their consulting work has expanded and now includes such areas as shareholder value management, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.

Over the decades, Towers Perrin has built a worldwide reputation as a prominent professional service organization. While we’ve retained our core businesses in designing and implementing world-class HR programs, Towers Perrin’s expertise in people strategies and solutions has evolved a long way from our 1934 roots.
