| Gerry is chief executive officer, Canada and managing director at
Barclays Global Investors where he is responsible for the overall management of
the company in Canada. In addition, he is a director of the Investment Counsel
Association of Canada, and a member of the index advisory panel that advises
Standard & Poor’s and the Toronto Stock Exchange on index construction.
Prior to joining BGI in 1997, Gerry spent 16 years with Imperial Oil and Exxon,
in a variety of financial management roles, including pension fund management.

| Geert is professor of finance at the Yale School of Management and deputy
director of the International Center for Finance at Yale, which he joined after
receiving his PhD from the University of Rochester. Geert teaches courses in
valuation and investment, international finance, and empirical research in
finance. His research interests include the trade-off between risk and return in
developed and emerging stock markets. His recent work examines global real
estate markets, the pricing of international mutual funds, and the history of
financial innovation. His articles have been published in The Journal of
Finance, The Journal of Financial Economics, The Journal of
Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and The Journal of Portfolio

the WTO and similar experience in the areas of foreign investment and private
international law concerning investment including advice relating to the

Trade and a member of the Government and Industry Relations Committee of

Mark Watts |
| Mark relocated from London to Boston in 2000 to head Baring Asset
Management's North American fixed income team. He is a member of the fixed
income asset allocation team covering the US markets and chairs the core plus
asset allocation team. Mark is also responsible for managing US domestic and
global fixed mandates. Prior to moving to Boston, Mark focused on European debt
and was responsible for managing clients domiciled in the Far East as well as
French and Italian domiciled mutual funds. He is SFA-qualified, holds the
International Securities Market Association diploma, the Securities Institute
diploma, and is a member of the Securities Institute. |

Weiss |
| Donald is the chairman and CEO of the Ontario Pension Board, which manages
the Public Service Pension Plan in Ontario. This $12 billion fund has
approximately 24,000 contributing members and 40,000 pensioners. He is the
former executive director of the P.C. Ontario Fund and past president of
Morguard Trust Company. Donald obtained his bachelor of commerce from the
University of Alberta and his business career has focused on financial services,
investment, banking, real estate finance, development and fundraising. |

Wermers |
| Russ is an assistant professor of finance at the Robert H. Smith
School of Business at the University of Maryland at College Park. His research
interests include the measurement and attribution of the performance of pension
fund and mutual fund managers. He also studies the investment behavior of these
managers, as well as the impact of their trades on stock markets. His papers
have been published in The American Economic Review, The Journal of
Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and The Journal of Finance. His
article on mutual fund and stock prices (Journal of Finance, 1999) won
the New York Stock Exchange Award for the best paper on equity trading in 1995.
