Location and Transportation
Due to construction on the highway to Whistler please allow yourself extra travelling time. For more information about road work please call 1 (866) 986-8675.

Delegates will be responsible for making their own ground transfer arrangements to and from Whistler. Please not that ground transportation is at each delegate's own expense.

There are numerous ground transfer options that operate out of the Vancouver Airport to Whistler. You can choose one of the following:

Perimeter - There are shuttles leaving the airport approximately every hour. A special rate of $56 one way and $112 round trip (plus GST) is offered when booking through Perimeter's call centre. Please let them know that you belong to the Global Investment Conference in order to receive the conference rate.

Classic Whistler Limousine Service - Classic Limousine Service offers daily Whistler limousine transportation from Vancouver, Vancouver International Airport, Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley areas to Whistler and return.

Driving Directions
From Vancouver International Airport (about 2.5 hours):

• Follow the signs to Grant McConachie Way, Vancouver and city center.
• Proceed over the Arthur Laing Bridge.
• Keep right and follow the signs to Granville Street and city center.
• Go along Granville Street (approximately 8 km), then over the Granville Bridge.
• Take the Seymour exit off Granville Bridge.
• Follow Seymour Street 7 blocks to Georgia and turn left (west).
• Head west along Georgia Street, approximately 12 blocks to Stanley Park.
• Go through Stanley Park and onto the Lion's Gate Bridge.
• As you leave the bridge, follow the signs for West Vancouver.
• You will find yourself on Marine Drive.
• At the 1st traffic light turn right onto Taylor Way.
• At the 2nd traffic light, take the left lane and follow the signs to Horseshoe Bay.
• At Horseshoe Bay, watch for the exit sign onto Highway 99 North to Squamish and Whistler.
• Continue north along Highway 99 to Whistler Village.
• Once you reach the Whistler Valley, proceed through 6 traffic lights and turn right at the 7th traffic light onto Lorimer Road.
• Follow Lorimer Road through the traffic light to the Upper Village, until you reach the 4-way stop sign at Blackcomb Way.
• Turn right onto Blackcomb Way.
• Almost immediately, you will see The Fairmont Chateau Whistler sign at the foot of Chateau Boulevard (left-hand side).
