Named Canada's Female Athlete of the Century in a Canadian Press and Broadcast News poll , Nancy Greene is best known for her amazing comeback in the 1968 Olympics where she won both Gold and Silver medals in slalom. Canadian Sport Monthly called Greene's World Cup campaign "one of the greatest individual feats in amateur sports." The New York Times headline read: Nancy Leaves European Skiers Stunned Nancy and her husband Al Raine have made skiing their life's work. They were instrumental in the planning and development of Whistler Ski Resort and Nancy continues to act as a spokesperson and ambassador for tourism nation-wide. She and Al are currently involved in the development of Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops, BC, which is becoming Canada's next great mountain resort.
